Advanced Dental Technologies for Quality Services
Our office is equipped with the latest equipment to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care. Whether you are coming in for an oral evaluation or need advanced dental treatments, we can resolve your dental health issues with a customized treatment plan using innovative dental technologies.
Dental implants have completely changed restorative dentistry and tooth replacement. They are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that their teeth appear natural and that their facial contours will be preserved. The implants themselves are tiny titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing.
Early detection and treatment of cavities is essential for maintaining optimal oral health. Since cavities can hide along tissue lines or inside occlusal surfaces, we need to use the DIAGNOdent laser diode to inspect the patient’s teeth. This laser can detect even the smallest amount of tooth decay. It is a safe and effective method for detecting decay because it uses light energy instead of x-rays.
Our digital x-ray system produces high-quality and accurate images of the teeth and jaw without exposing the patient to high levels of radiation. Pictures are displayed on a computer within seconds, giving the doctor and patient a chance to review results together.
We can perform a faster and more accurate diagnosis when we use the intraoral camera to view your teeth and gums. This camera is very effective for detecting underlying dental health issues and concerns without spending a long time in the dentist’s chair. Patients get to see the state of their oral health in real-time and better understand the doctor’s diagnosis.
Better healing from within after surgery…
L-PRF is a simple, natural, holistic method of promoting faster healing. L-PRF Platelet Therapy has been cleared by the FDA and is 100% biocompatible because the compounds are derived from your own blood. When you come to the office we draw your blood, extract the platelets and inject them into the surgical site to expedite the healing process. See the attached brochure for more information
Dental lasers are one of the newest advanced dental tools we use at Gaspari Family Dental Care. Lasers deliver a very narrow, intense beam of energy in the form of light. This can be used to cut through and dissolve tissues quickly and precisely. In addition to being extremely precise and efficient, the laser also results in minimal bleeding and discomfort; many treatments completed with the dental laser do not require local anesthetic. The use of the laser also lowers your chance for infection following the treatment and speeds the healing process.
We may perform this procedure when placing a dental implant. The procedure involves cutting bone without damaging the soft tissue by using ultrasonic micro-vibrations. Our innovative technology allows us to perform a number of procedures that were not previously possible. Piezosurgery may also be implemented when performing crown lengthening procedures, periodontal therapy, and tooth extractions.
The Pinhole Surgical Technique is a minimally-invasive procedure to treat gum recession. Dr. Joe Gaspari can treat a single tooth or several teeth, using this innovative technique. Patients enjoy immediate results and virtually no downtime.
We use the Care Stream 8100 3D Imaging device at our practice to see high-quality, 3D images of your mouth and jaw during your oral evaluation. This innovative 3D imaging system delivers very detailed and accurate images to help us perform diagnoses of even the most complex dental conditions and assess the state of your oral health.
